Dear Parents/Guardians,
At a press conference today, Governor Murphy announced that districts may submit supplemental plans to open on a full remote schedule in September based on a certification review of health and safety standards. In response, the district’s Executive Reentry Planning Committee will reconvene to examine the standards associated with the guidelines in this area. This meeting is aligned with the alternate provision in our reopening phases to implement full virtual learning as phase one, provided the Governor extended that decision-making to the local level. For more information, please see p. 22 of the district reopening plan. The committee will assess our status and communicate next steps soon after.
