Professional Development

Milltown School District is committed to the continued learning of all staff members in order to continuously improve classroom practice and increase student achievement. All staff members are required to complete a minimum of 20 professional development (PD) hours annually as related to their Professional Improvement Plan as required by the state of New Jersey. Teachers are provided with both in-service and off-site PD opportunities.

Teacher Evaluation System
 
In accordance with the Teach NJ Act, Milltown Schools have chosen Charlotte Danielson's Framework for Teaching as the primary tool for teacher observation and evaluation.
