Take Your Child to Work Day

  Involvement in this event is intended to increase career awareness among students, and many teachers give children the opportunity to share what they have learned when they return to the classroom. In previous years, the day has been a success due to the cooperative efforts of thousands of parents, schools, businesses, organizations and other concerned individuals who demonstrated their interest in children’s education and their future participation in the workforce.

Effective with the 2025-26 school year, any student who was absent for their participation in their family's "take your child to work day" should be marked excused in accordance with the state's recognition of the day. 

If your child is participating in Take Your Child to Work Day please:

 Leave a message on the correct attendance line to notify the school
prior to the day of the event.
